PACKING A PUNCH OF FLAVOR

Jakov P. Dulcich & Sons’ innovation and ingenuity doesn’t stop at growing premium grapes…it carries well over into packing and shipping them in only the finest and latest package types. It’s the extra mile we go to help ensure our product’s freshness and beauty remain all the way to your door.

To this end, Sunlight International ships our grapes by way of air, ocean and truck to countries throughout the world. We pack our grapes in 16# retail bags, 19# retail bags, and 21# plain (loose) packs, and per customer specifications and requests, utilize Styrofoam, RPC, recyclable plastic or carton shipping containers.

We have also recently introduced our new disposable colander bags as part of our popular merchandising programs. With expertly placed holes for perfect drainage, all the customer has to do is open the top of these ingenious colander bags, run under the kitchen faucet, and then let dry on a rack for a minute or two. And while the design is innovative and helpful for customers, retailers everywhere have discovered this new packaging has a variety of benefits other than just as a disposable colander that saves the consumer time. Many produce managers have reported that they find the self-standing, flat bottom bags easy to display, and the bags certainly live up to their “grab-n-go” status thanks to the easy-to-carry handles.
